The Callaway Club – The Default Club For Golf Lovers
The most dependable and popular types of golf clubs in recent times is Callaway golf club. Now-a-days a lot of people are attracted towards golf and this is the reason behind the success of Callaway golf clubs.
Ely Callaway is the one who heads Callaway golf club. Ely Callaway purchased fifty percent of the Hickory Stick, United States of America and it was renamed as Callaway Hickory Stick, United States of America. On completing the purchase, he resolved to look for the best people who would support him in fulfilling his dream of starting a Callaway golf club. While doing this process he hired one Richard C. Helmstetter who was appointed as chief club designer. The Callaway is said to be unique of its kind and is said to possess high performing golf equipments which is the result of the revolutionary and innovative designs there. Later Ely Callaway renamed the club as Callaway golf and it was moved to a sleepy town, Carlsbad, north of San Diego from Cathedral city which is at California
The club created stainless steel drivers with larger and better forgiving heads than the previously used ones. This was one of the innovative designs created by Callaway golf club and the chief executive officer of Callaway called it “Big Bertha”, a term that was used for the German cannon backs used in WWI and known for its efficiency in long distance shooting. This innovation resulted in increased sales and brought reputation to Callaway. The introduction of Big Bertha type made Callaway the best manufacturer in the golf club markets all over the world. This also shows the popularity of golf in the world as well.
Callaway golf club has six sub divisions. The first is the two models of drivers-the former being, Big Bertha Fusion FT4 and the latter being Big Bertha Titanium 454. The second subdivision of Callaway golf is the Fairway Woods. This has three types of golf clubs. They are Big Bertha Fusion Fairway Woods, Fairway woods and Titanium Fairway Woods. The third classification of the club is a mixture which was named big bertha Heavenwood Hybrids and this designed for long distance shooting. The next subdivision called irons has been classified into 5 types, their names being Big Bertha, X-tour, Big Bertha Fusion, The X-18 and the last being X-18 Pro. The last but one classification is called the Forged+ Wedges and this would comprise wedges. The final classification of the golf club is the Putters and this has two models called Callaway I-Trax Golf Putter and The Tour Blue.
The above mentioned classifications and designs are those that are manufactured at the firm itself. They are designed considering the latest developments in science and technology. They are worth trying and probably in trying you might become the future Tiger woods in golf.
